The Boy The boy looks up A tall figure hovers overhead A giant in the boys' eyes He reaches to hold the giants hand It swallow his Large and warm A perfect fit He sees his hero Capable of anything "Hold me, daddy" The small voice requests Inviting arm raise him Holding him close, tight He's tall now Tall like daddy "Someday" the boy imagines "I'll be just like him" "Someday" the father hopes "He'll be better than me" |
