The Journey

Journey with me through the porthole to my soul Through the entangling web that protects the core Climb my impeding, towering wall Into the depths that beg for hope. A faint light is off in the distance Each day I help it grow I've brought you to help in my struggle To fuel the fire, and make it glow. Few have entered this damp place For nothing could survive To know such despair is frustrating For souls who are truly alive. You must be strong to save yourself For that reason you were chosen It's easy to be sucked in to the vast, empty chasm . You will forever be my friend The moment that I let you in And you help and a sigh of relief  The healing will begin.
