Chapel In The Woods I walked today the wooded path where creatures wild and free had often walked in solitude and broke the path for me I saw the lofty pines above reach up in praise to God I heard the breeze play gentle notes among them as I trod I watched the rippling brook as it skipped across the stone and further on, a huge cliff made a great majestic throne I saw a little woodland fern with a soft banner raised and beside a tiny flower it looked up in humble praise a quiet peace stole over me as I in silence stood and listened to God's music fill my chapel in the woods.
