By the Wayside

anxiously waiting for you to wait for me distant decisions made unnecessarily forgoing the inevitable has always been second nature open the tarnished vial and fetch me the cure slipping secretly into oblivion your malicious grin drags me deeper into your religion wisdom lurks in the wrinkles near your smile always searching for a being to defile I crave the emptiness of your kiss pulling me into the abyss trusting your caresses wouldn't be wise I know your intent by the hate in your eyes I shoot back the same blank stare hope you believe that I don't care the only way that I can win is to leave off where you begin
