Hitting Surface

What is this that I have found,  a cushion for my soul- never stiff but never sinking. The potential exists yet you are impenetrable. I remain tense. Overcome with fatigue, I dive into your shallow surface. The contact awakens my inner conscious. My eyes are open! You are a vagabond  of emotional states. Your focus is survival.  Your down is delicate and your own. I am too heavy.
