A Blue Sky Every Evening

The stars, they shine above you. They make your dark sky blue. A tree is slowly falling down. In my forest, no one hears the sounds. Twinkle, twinkle, one by one, They fill the sky with illumination. My tree- still falling, crashing down And ever so silently makes the sound. The sound of evening-  Coming.  Leaving. The sky is screaming, "Wake and see me!" Hoping some night you will. But tonight all prospective eyes are still. Yet the stars still give their light For the one boy up tonight. Tree touches down, wakes up no other. Not until morning will it be discovered, While the stars, again, are sadly covered. 5-97
