Monolithic Ashes

I remained before the monolith called life it was the cooling of the ashes. Massive, unmoving, relentless small, floating gray flakes of nothing. Within it's unyielding strength from the small fires of experience. Powerful, dense, overpowering stirred by the wind and scattered. No attempt to open it would succeed as I looked within the small rising flakes. Unmoved, remaining, dominant, unapproachable yet something was there, hidden. The monolith again declared itself to me veiled in a floating gray powder. Emanating great, continous, pressure as something beautiful was appearing. All of life trembled as it powerfully spoke the remains scattered then revealing. The monolith shaking all creation for an object formed from enormous pressure. The heavens trembled as it gave birth a jewel, beautiful, clear, priceless. Created from pressure, power, and force the brilliant jewel of life, my heart.

Additional Notes:
Before you reduce this to "ashes" please take time to read every other line. 1st, with the 3rd, 2nd with the 4th continuing to the last line. Both readings conclude at the last verse but all hopefully able to work together. Just something I have wanted to try... :>)
