Thinker

Deep, vicious lines penetrate her flesh.      No one is around.           Her self-delusion is her self-defeat. She pulls a cancer stick from the pack.      No one is around.           Silence echoes inside and outside her mind. Circles of insomnia line her eyes.      Deep wounds throb and secrete.           Her lips crack from dehydration. Cirlces of insomnia line her eyes.      She ponders the swirls of carbon monoxide           Her lips crack from dehydration. Lines tighten on her pale skin.      She ponders the swirls of carbon monoxide.           Hours crawl over the cold, harsh cement. Lines tighten on her pale skin.      Deep, vicious lines penetrate her flesh.
