Dear Suzanne

So far away yet still I find myself falling in love with you. We share words deep in the night. Fingers moving swiftly on keyboards, our souls and minds and hearts bared, and through a click of a mouse they are sent  over the vastness of space between us. They fill the long, lonely and quiet hours. We've spoken, shared and discovered, thoughts, feelings, dreams and desires. We've learned about our lives the things we've done, the things we do, and still there is more to know... We've become a part of each others lives without ever having met face to face. We've become important to one another across these thousands of miles that separate us. Our reality is a computer screen, an internet connection, a program that starts when we tell it to but without which we might never have met. You've become my friend, someone I look forward to seeing every day and every night. Even when we only exchange a word or two.. those moments have become precious to me, even though what I want is to melt those miles between us because although there is distance between us you've already made your way into my heart.
