Nomad I used to live in a place called fantasy. Then I moved to a place called insanity. Now I'm a nomad without a home. No place to go and the whole world to roam. I have laughed at the gods. And took pride with the devil. My lust for righteousness Has made me a rebel. I shook hands with destiny And bid her farewell. I befriended death And borrowed her shell. I made love with an angel And laughed at her song. I walked past salvation While my legs were still strong. Am I delirious? Am I insane? I am but neither. Just a man walking along. |
