The First Stone Cast

Chiseling your hasty words,   working quickly as they flow from your lips to my ears, I artfully sculpt them  into a thing of beauty. Smoothing jagged edges and corners  into innocuous sensual curves, I skillfully fill uncertain gaps  with the remaining residue. Placed high on a pedestal,  I step back and admire my creation. Ingenious lighting displays the product of our exchange. Is this masterpiece before me what you said?
