Objective View

After being in the library for an hour or two I walked to my car unlocking the door I saw an object long and black it looked like a gun on the driver's seat How could this be? Who got in? Why leave a weapon? Then opening the door I reached inside picked up the object and turned it over to find it was my rearview mirror that had fallen off the windshield What does this mean? Is my life falling apart? Am I not here, for my reflection shall not be seen? Am I coming unglued? I feel the windshield where it once was, it's hot I ponder then say aloud the adhesive is no damn good I set the object on the passenger seat I turn the key Then drive off
