IT'S ONLY A DREAM

Let me tell you about a dream so clear While lights changed to dim on the street. Soft illumination from the moon drew you near, As the swirling wind rustled leaves at your feet. You drifted like a misty fantasy into my room, Scented as a rose petal washed in the morning dew, A sensual perfume soon sealed me in my tomb, With a sonorous soul I only wanted to be you. Let me tell you about my dream. With night shadows bouncing across my bed, I slowly drifted into a space of changing lights, Starting in a mellow blue, then seductive red, Flickering like lit candles at different heights, Changing the color of your long flowing hair. I watched as your head turned and you swayed, Your flowing gown opened holding my wishful stare, As you floated to the top of the bed I made. Let me tell you about my dream. When you lay down beside me in my dream, I reached out prepared to pay a small tole. Searching hollows lit by a single moon beam. Passing shadows devouring you, as I stole, A kiss in splendor from your opening bay,  Tasting your tiny sultry beads....I soon felt Like a child in school with nothing to say, Licking my ice cream before it started to melt, Let me tell you about my dream. Your dreamy eyes fluttering messages in code, As thoughts were washing in waves out front. My lips surfed to yours, and suddenly they rode Over the softness under your chin driven in hunt, Drawn to the scent of a million flowers at rest, Your breath coming rapidly, urging me along, Like a bird searching then building it's nest, Thrusting and weaving and singing it's song Let me tell you it was only a dream....
