My Rose

As I look at a rose blooming in the sun, I see the beauty and splendor of is existence. It takes me back to a time long since past. A time when your beauty and splendor shined. When you were all that I knew or loved. A time when it was just us two. When life was all brand new to me. For as we had to part after such a short time, You showed me that no matter the distance, Nothing or no one could take away our love that we shared. Our love continued to gorow and grow. Now after all has been said and done, And you have gone to be with Our Father in Heaven. Our love still remains with me. So, Grandma I give to you these words: Just as a rose always blooms, So will you in my heart. I love you, Grandma. My lovely blooming rose.
