The Journey

Callous eyes bleed tears of sorrow remembering the pain. Hidden behind years of lies and utter misconception. Harboring discontent and aimlessly wandering around. Captive in a world created by your bitter sins. Deeper is the grave you dig where one day you will lie. Pulsating flesh shows the wear of many countless days. Chipping away your soul slowly and meticulously, Running is futile because there is nowhere you can hide. Empty to yourself nothing left to give. Falling ever faster spinning recklessly out of control. Reaching the bottom only to read the writing on the wall. Long is the journey back up, but definitely not impossible. One foot in front of the other slowly traveling up. Pain is not forgotten but used to create focus. Steady is the way to insure the healing is done. Questions with no answers no longer can be asked. The tunnel seems so long but there is a glimmer of light. Keeping faith you’ll find your closer than you think. Giving in is easy so take the harder path, For in the end the journey constitutes the man.
