World From My Window

Within a tranquil black and grey a calming peace resides within as the day gives way to dusk again the world from my window slips away. The quiet, the absence of a sound, allows my thoughts to run away and caresses my mind with forgotten days whose memories, once lost, are momentarily found. Then everything blurs and I drift into the ever so near realm of dreams where I remain for an eternity it seems as the night gives way to morning dew. Then I awake, for once, unfrightened a fragmented soul at last restored uniting the parts so long ignored as the world from my window brightens.
