Confession of a Bastard Son

I came screaming into this world, Born out of the bosom of Love. My arrival was question and pondered. The one who bore me knew the burden. Young and frightened, she stood alone in the world, Betrayed by Love and Hope, her pain was immense. I represented that pain. An infectious reminder that festered in her gorged belly. Her accused, my father, never saw the fair hand of Justice. He took her until satisfied and left behind no love. Why should she love me? With her soul dripping with despair, She loved me without doubt and I came to be. So maybe I was born out of Misery. To my Mother I must say: If I never saw the light of day; If I were never to exist By the way of your choice, I would not resist to say that I would have understood. You would have had my forgiveness, And I would have loved you nonetheless.

Additional Notes:
The poem is written in an awkward fashion on purpose. It represents quite an awkward and uncomfortable aspect of my life. Also, the capitalization of certain ideas (i.e. Love) acts as a means of personification. You will notice that sometimes they are capitalized and sometimes not, which is significant.
