What Night is This?

The goobbledegook of eyes that look to scare the pants off an unsuspecting stare The torn muscles that drip life's blood onto ghastly clothes The teeth with the sharpness of a knife to cut through flesh, that teeth mashing sound can be heard from all around The darkness of the sky, darker than yesterday The crackling sound of leaves underneath apprehensive feet The sound of rats chewing on wood The howling of animals morning a lost The moon as big as a supersize cream pie The wind blown out of the mouth of a tunnel spirit The cold of a day in the refrigerator set on 30 degrees The smell of wet pine and oak, burnt popcorn, and car exhaust fumes I want to know deperately what night is this,  hallow night that was weaned from day?
