Death

I felt you crawl into my bed days ago- Your cold tomb flesh drives me to fits of shivering until I curl up into a ball. Each day you move closer until your papery skin is next to mine- all damp and fevered. Your breath- a soft rattling wheeze, constant and right outside my ear, keeps me awake... (as if my vigilance will keep you away) But no- this night I feel you put your rotting arm around me and then, drape your leg over both of mine. When suddenly- I am pinned beneath your lust. I mistakenly look into your eyes until I am petrified searching the swirling black depths for a small spark of soul. You chuckle softly, and then louder, as layers of my mind peel away from me and my breath catches in my throat- where my screams have turned soundless. Finally- you place your freeze dried lips to mine and kiss me long and hard with your bile covered tongue thrusting into my mouth. I am so tired I give in to your frigid passion that at first, hurts so bad my tears run dry, which fades quickly to waves of ecstasy and then, most thankfully, to black.
