Wonderment

Entering this room of wonderment-  Devoid of light and sound-  My mind begins to lift and rise above-  The blanket of sky-  Thrust inside life's arms-  Unsure of where a passionate embrace will lead me-  Exhausted and confined within my body-  I yearn to reveal the meaning of it all-  Treading on a sea of "Why?"  And tripping on a pile "How?"  I struggle back to earth-  And land on bed of reality-  Tightly gripping my humanity-
