KNIGHT OF DARKNESS

A knight with a heart full of love           but a soul full of loneliness,         he could unit his heart with anyone       as for his soul unfortunately with no one.         His soul is sometimes so dark and empty       that I could hear the waves of silence    plunging the rocks of his pride every other night,     he lives for a dream of finding his princess         to whom he could oblige his spirit          and hope his darkness would be lost        in the vastness of her ever loving heart               but could this happen?                   I think not          cause he's a person who only knows           how to make others happy and alive             while making himself fall             from the cleft of darkness          into the world of immortal pain                 with the leash of reality hanging on his neck    and hope for his dream right in front of his eyes.       The dreams echo will always rise up high       of a beloved one with the moon in the sky            and the beautiful stars that cast               a goddess shadow on earth,               a shadow that doesn't know                the meaning of far away.                   Eventually he will return to be                the knight of darkness,            loving is something from his past        but its memories would be treasured to last       in his mind and mine forever and ever tonight       and he'll disappear just like any other knight              a knight who for most of us                  doesn't ever exist.

Additional Notes:
this poem came to me as i saw the look in a friends eyes who was so madly in love that he could die for her but couldnt confess his love and so his love was left for him to die with him along with the regret of never sharing that love with the only one who deserved it.
