Love Letters

Love Letters They’re scattered all around, Stuck in corners, found beneath the couch, Hidden in the kitchen’s catchall drawers. I find them in the most unlikely places, these Love letters They are reminders of lovers past At times making me simply melancholy At times embracing my lonely heart  At times torturing me with passion gone bad, these Love letters Maybe one day I will assemble them Box them up and tie them with a pretty pink bow Put them in a place where they may keep company Hidden from my eye’s spontaneous discovery.
