Little Love (resubmitted)

Fall season's in our hearts so dear As the day is shortened by night Three months are left of this year And the weather seems just right. Great cool nights and warm days As fall brings out new colors After school my young girl obeys Till dark, accompanied by others. Lessons first, then goes out to play Her friends to enjoy with pleasure It's time for a bath to end the day With memories for each to treasure. It's bedtime now, she's ready for a hug From mother and father, good night! Pull up the blanket with one big tug She's tucked in with love just right. Get some sleep, this day has passed Our praise to the Lord we give The hugs and kisses come at last Thanking God for the life we live.
