Waiting for you after work last night I was dreaming about you of long ago Looking into your blue eyes so bright You're the true love for me I know. Looking at me with your beautiful smile Your hair gently blowing in the breeze Feeling much like a very young child Returning a smile to you with ease. Going way back to our early years These memories came back to me I told Mom and Dad as I shed tears This is the way my life should be.  Hoping to find the love of my life That will treat me so kind and true I wanted to become a young man's wife Never leaving me sad or blue. I met you one evening just before seven A shy person you pretended to be You made me feel like I was in Heaven For the interest you showed in me.
