Happy Halloween

This is the month of October Enjoying each beautiful day For we should remain sober While trick-or-treaters play. By day the sun shines brightly While sharing its warm rays The Harvest Moons glows lightly Hovering our seasonal displays. Trees are changing colors For autumn's already here Warmth we share with others As wintertime draws near. The leaves are slowly falling Our trees will soon be bare Ghouls and goblins are calling Watch out! You better beware! The ghosts are coming after Both you and me, my dear Little ones sharing laughter And some may shed a tear. At night the streets are dark That's when the spooks come out Don't go alone into the park Boogeymen are moving about. These are the days of fun When witches can be seen Good luck before today is done Wishing all a Happy Halloween!

Additional Notes:
This is a revision of the former poem I posted. I want to keep it joyful and full of fun. That is all Halloween means to me, fun and laughter. Thanks for your time and patience.
