On the Internet Without a Gun

I was posting my poetry on the web Not expecting to find you there Thinking perhaps, you were dead And then I was caught unaware Staring me in the face Your poem occupied a place And underneath you signed your name So there could be no mistake It brought to mind the sorrow and the pain For the lies and betrayal, we're both to blame Now I am as if one obsessed Your spectre I cannot put to rest
