~My Favorite Season~

All of us have a favorite season      for one or another special reason.        Some like the spring time with      all the pretty flowers that bloom.      I admit the world's beautiful then      after cold and hazy days of gloom.         Others enjoy the summer time       bright and hot days full of fun   of swimming, boating, biking and hiking      just about something for everyone.      Then there's the cool winter time,    sleddin, snow ball fights and snow men,    Christmas spirit and the giving of it.       Many hate to see this one end.    But, my favorite's got to be the fall.       I cherish this time of the year.    Feeling relief from that summer heat,       the autumn is to me, very dear.   Transforming colors turn tree's leaves     Red, yellow, orange, brown and gold   and fresh air with cool blowing breeze.     For me, such easy feelings to hold.     Even though these reasons are sure  in my heart there's one greater then all.  That's the fact that twenty one years ago      I fell in true love,  in the fall.     I remember going to visit in the eve'        And I'd arrive after 5:00 p.m.     Such a view walking over that bridge,       As the day would come to an end.     Sometimes I beheld an awesome sunset,   Just a taste of what next, was in store.     Coming to see the light of my eyes     I couldn't wait to get to her door.      She'd come out looking so pretty  and I just smiled from my delight inside.     I know I may have been overzealous  but, my excitement I just couldn't hide.     It was deep passion beyond control.  But, we didn't have a clue of real life. Kids who started knowing each other though,     happily we ended up, man and wife.  So to change my mind, there's no reason   about that time that I love the best.  The fall for me is the greatest season   but, I get along fine with the rest.
