Eternal Wings

I am an island stranded by pain the sea of your stale love surrounds me. I could once fly with wings like a bird then you reached up and pulled me down. You have paralyzed my want. You have numbed my emotions. I am only a servant. To you I have no future. I plead, Please Deliver Me, Lord -  but, he does not answer. I will do it myself. Soon I will be free from the pain you place upon me. With these hands, I will take myself from your suffering. In no time at all, I will be free,  like a bird -- for eternity.
