The Tryst

There was never intent   to hurt or deceive  Restraint was the key   or so we believed  But flesh against flesh   a whisper of bliss  The beat of her heart   a sensuous kiss  A breathless exchange   a moment like this  We lived in a lie   a passionate mist  Forgive us our sin   we cannot dismiss  No matter the demons   we're locked in     this Tryst

Additional Notes:
This was my first attempt at a poem longer then three verses. I hope it is not too long.
