In honor of Donna Jean

I received the news today  The cancer was in your lungs and bones I dropped to my knees and I began to pray The words it’s incurable began to race I prayed to the Lord that he be with you As the tears rolled down my face As I prayed to him. I could feel his presence I knew he would be there in your time of need But I felt something that didn’t make sense With the touch of his hand, I no longer felt sorrow As to say everything will be ok Look into the future not just tomorrow I felt that there was nothing wrong anymore My body quit shaking and the tears started to dry I wasn’t confused as I was before Whether you are with him or with us you will win either way You’re a strong women just keep fighting this disease Your in my thoughts and prayers everyday I LOVE YOU AUNT DONNA JEAN
