God's Will

I lay awake 'Till break of day I dream of people Far away. I feel why we met That fateful night Was God above Said time is right. We both have lived Loved and lost Emptiness and loneliness We have paid the cost. The wounds are deep  Our hearts still bleed True love and gentleness Is what we need. There is a child In all of this A woman's comfort That baby has missed. Showing smiling eyes Giving heart felt laughter Melts the pain Forever after. A stable family We three need Please wait for me We'll plant the seed. We will tenderly nurture The seed we have sewn Watch it bloom and flower While we three have grown. A solid foundation Built under our feet With love and laughter No need to compete. With love inside And beauty around us It's God I thank The plan was glorious.
