Forgotten

Time has passed much to quickly My children have all grown I never get to see them They all have lives of their own. Tommy's son plays T-ball His daughter is in dance I'd love to go and be with them If I only had the chance. In this wheelchair I am stranded In this hospital I must stay No one will come and visit They all live too far away. I sit and search my memory I can see my kids still young I have to enjoy recalling now I'm told Altzheimers has begun. I wonder if they'll come When they put me in the ground I did my best to raise them I hope I didn't let anyone down.
