Choice

Trapped in the dark with no where to go. Where am I? I do not know. Which way do I go if I decide to run? Someone had told me this would be fun. But something has gone very wrong. I hope deep in my soul that it won't last long. That's when I notice I cannot hear, and deep in my stomach rises dread and fear. I try to reach up and touch my face, but, my hands feel like they're glued in place. If my eyes are open I'm not sure. Then from out of the dark I hear something stir. Someone says in a weak little voice, "This shouldn't have happened. You had another choice."
