Maybe a Memory

Here,  this place within a dream,  in which time is a moment The poetry of an undying love  slips through heroic hands and ventures on  to quest again Sweet discourse Satisfaction within a narrowly missed victory Peace prevails throughout  Souls drenched with the unending An illusion so real  that you can touch, taste, smell, hear and see it The electronic hymns of  your forefathers  Play “Pong” in your ear drums Tick Tock Tick  Tock Tick Tock Tick Where was Time? The dream slips Somewhere alarms go off Maybe in tomorrow nights episode Days dully drifting by in dizzy repetition Beep Beep Wake up Out again living a life, getting by day to day Hoping for something better Some day Some time Back to bed To hide, ease your mind A private place just for you to dream and free your soul Wishing to be here forever Lost, in a pleasant dream Still, here, now Time is a moment
