Simplicity

The breeze sang to me- A song forgotten, yet familiar.  Music is like candy to my ears,  sweet like childhood memories. Running along concrete trails without fear of falling and scraping a knee. I felt free! Exploring the terrain inside me.  Spaghetti jars misted by rain,  brimming with childhood curiosity. caterpillars and fireflies- A child’s delight. Keeping mother earth at my side  Wishing for an angel’s kiss,  on a cheek soiled from bubble gum and Lollipops. A simple life then-  Simplicity a trusted friend. Many years passed  through a sieve,  beaten by the hands of time. Never realizing until the clouds  surrendered to the sun,  an angel had always kept silent watch. He held me in his mighty hand and spoke words concealed within life's beauty drowned by the noise of existence.
