Education Is A Process

Education is a continuing process, Something we take for granted. There is always information for us to access, As long as we learn where we’re planted. Our brains are the bucket, We fill with information. Sometimes the words get stuck in it, The process is assimilation. Words are ignited into thoughts and feelings. How we use them in a sentence, Is how they come across in life’s dealings. Writing another poem seems to be my penance. Once we start the education classes, We always try to keep up with the masses. It is a never-ending journey sometimes fast sometimes slow, But whatever we learn, we can use it wherever we go. Education and school were the last things on my mind. But now that I am here I have become a bit more kind. My brain is more open to new ideas. My thought process is becoming a little more clear. When we start to learn, Our brain gets set on fire. The more we learn, Our IQ gets higher and higher. This may not be what you’re looking for, But when I start to write, a poem is in store. A drop in the bucket, another page, Words are information and my brain is the stage. ©08-24-2000
