Baptism

I bought a beautiful knife today Caressing her razor-sharp edges I smile faintly. Hideous visions come alive Dancing in the desolate streets while merciless winds beat down upon me. Virgin steel wickedly gleams  In the dark, where my shadow thirsts for blood Propelled by the deepest caverns of the abyss, Driven to numb the pain Arteries scream for revenge.  Bitter-sweet lips tease my memory The constant presence of despair mocking Flesh melts, molten blood baptizing My most profane secrets. I bought a beautiful knife today Caressing her razor-sharp edges  I smile faintly.
