ON THE ROAD TO SELF-DISCOVERY

The journey has been long and arduous,  filled with cryptic directions and self-imposed delays. Unidenified goals impeeded success. The specter of rejection lurked behind each door, concealing opportunties and obscuring new vistas. Traversing hills of self-doubt and valleys of inadequacies, I moved forward slowly to an unknown destiny. At what moment during this hollow sojourn did the epiphany occur- awakening me to life's truths. Belatedly, recognizing the captain of the ship, a change of direction ensued. Excess baggage was tossed overboard, slashing tons of pernicious growth. Utilizing the option to say No, offered  unexpected sources of resilience. It soon became apparent that yesterday's adversities were invaluable tools of strength. Today I reached the highest summit, I discovered SELF.
