Waiting For Peace

Like a flower...slowly...opening to morning sun after the stormy night; my heart...shyly...turns, a whisper of love on my lips. The blossom...quickly wilts in the sweltering noonday sun. My mind...my hope...closes in the fierce heat of your anger. Fragile petals...crushed...fall, as the rain sweeps the bloom. My heart...weeping...withers, waiting for "Peace." As the dew...kisses...the rose, drinking of it's sweet fragrance; God's Love...gently...reminds us to remember the perfume of "Joy." Our love...blooms...once more. The tender petals of our hearts open. Our bodies...sweetly...embrace in the warmth of "Forgiveness."
