Windy Day

It's so cold outside, when the wind blows. It cuts into your skin, allowing you to feel the troubles it carries. Smacking you in the face, all the sorrows of the world go inside you. Tearing into your inner peace. The wind brings a tear to your eye. Yet, the wind keeps on blowing. Telling stories it has told since the dawn of time. It blows harder, to stop you in your tracks. You feel the pain of troubled lives. You sense the hurt, as you fall to your knees. Looking up,  you see no sun that lights the sky. Only darkness... Yet, the wind keeps on going. Harder and harder it blows. Trying to convince you,  that what you see is so very real. The tear has brought a flowing stream to your face. The wind has blown away your false pride,  letting your pain flow freely. It has taken the hurt and added to its collective,  allowing you to raom free in the world. It's so cold outside, when the wind blows. It takes the pain, and carries the burdens of the world.
