Winter

The sky like slate, full of angry chalk words, and bare branches pointing their fingers upwards, all menacing and accusatory, warn of winters blustery approach. I can already feel him bullying his way through the cracks, with his cold hands brushing across my breasts, while his breath  lingers upon my neck. Soon his swirling voice  will scream like rape through my ears, as he tears at my clothes, and yanks at my hair. Dreading his approach, I shiver and turn away from the window, shuffling back to the denial of my fluffy pillows, and perspiring blankets.
