My Suede

Biting deeply into bitter- the ulceration of life that declares me unworthy, and simpering, and weak, until I cannot bear to spend time with myself- and the refection in the mirror, to my eyes, becomes ludicrous, and ugly, and horrid. When I take to my bed to waste away the hours, counting flowers in my comforter, and long for your suede kisses, soft and earthy, that wrap around me like a cocoon. Where you do not call me crazy, and pretentious, and self absorbed- When I dare to venture  a look into your eyes, and find me there, wearing nothing but pink gossamer wings flittering through your soul- all breathtaking colors, and soft velvet, and carbonated grapefruit. There,I am taken aback by a sudden warm drop upon my lips that I lick away, and it fills my mouth with sugary nectar of your guava tears, which melts away my sour lemon frost with your celebration of life, and love, and me.
