I Think Of You

As I lie on the couch with my son in my arms, The way you and I used to do. I remember the times when I was a child, And that's when I think of you. As my babies grow older, I wish you were still here. To share precious moments, That have become so dear. I made a vow between God and myself, That my children recieve the best of my Spiritual wealth. Thinking about the things we could have done, In trying my best, half the battle is won. Every morning that I'm blessed to open my eyes, I must remember to keep my focus on the prize. To pass on to my children all that is true, Daddy, as I raise my kids I think of you.
