What's Important ?

My plants wouldn't grow I worried so My vines wouldn't creep I couldn't sleep Then I lost my wedding ring That was worse than anything Then Father died I always cried For depressions sake I could not stay awake Sleep eased the pain That must remain The day she left I stood bereft My life was now shattered Nothing else mattered Life had no worth I cursed my birth Then doctor said You'll soon be dead So much I'll miss I can't take this My prayers were all I had to give Please dear God, just let me live I can't believe I can't conceive This good a break A medical mistake Before I was never able to see That life is fun, so good for me Things look just fine On borrowed time Lifting that weight Everything's great In fact, things would be perfect, you know If only I could get my plants to grow
