GENTLE GESTURES

Comforting is the gentle rain, Pitter-patter on the window pane, Nourishing nature's gifts of sustenance, Gardens, plants and trees in abundance. Considerate is the gentle man, Tender, kind, who takes your hand And lifts you up, body and soul When circumstances exist beyond control. Sensitive is the gentle woman, Understanding, attentive, softly spoken, Soothing furrowed brows of mankind, Manners, morals, respect and love defined. Sweetness is the gentle child, Caring, sharing all the while Obeying the ten commandments of God From morning to night's refreshing nod. Placid is the gentle wind, Unruffled, calm and disciplined, Seeds of germination midst the storms -- God's gifts come in many forms.
