The Cost of Waiting

I'm always waiting on the muse, I'm always waiting on Our Lady or Sire of Perpetual Waiting. I wait too long for what has past. Weighted down by waiting Waiting for a bus Waiting for the water to boil; the caldron to seethe Waiting for the tide to change Waiting for Godot Waiting by the side of the road Waiting for opportunity to knock But never waiting to wait I can't wait to get over this waiting period Wait, I think it's coming to me WAITER, THE TAB PLEASE!
