No Replacement

There never could truly be a replacement for you for me either I suppose as for our friendship it's strong others have come and gone and in their absence we've grown stronger quarrels here and there kept us from intoxicating each other's minds few differences I have blonde hair and you have brown your eyes are brown and mine blue blending together interchangeable names you cleverly aggressive and me subtly silent it doesn't make a difference though inseparable from day one our outrageous bird brain adventures spending six hours searching for doughnuts running out of gas and flashing all of Montrose playing green club games with empty soda cans just for kicks! continuous repetition of Backstreet Boys Chinese fire drills and almost cutting off my leg 3 a.m. doughnut runs and highlighting our hair for that oh-so-unnatural look can you believe the things we've done? from 5 hour long preparation periods just to get washed away in the gas station rain flooding our pants extravagant drinking plans inventory and all our secret stash skinny dipping and fireworks hours of sobbing  just to throw up YUCK! all of this to deliver us with the strongest friendship anyone could ever have.
