The Written Word

When I am forever gone... the few written words... I leave behind represent all that remains of my essence. I will be long gone... dust in the wind... a song that has been sung... a day that has come and gone. And surly, I will never return again. But, you see... as long as those words survive... I'll be here... quite alive. So when you read my written words... think of me... sitting here by your side. Sitting here... still alive!
