Quicksand

My jealousy unfolds itself in great green gulping gasps which never leave their habitat of my lips and the cold  pasture of my heart. It has been one week, a seeming eternity, since my eyes have gazed upon your face. My soul grows forgetful and disloyal. My breasts heave and eyes wander towards the hopeful glances of other, less worthy than you, individuals who sense my flesh's predicament which presses up  against he that has desire. My lips part, tongue gently tasting that which ought to be forbidden, breath hotly mingly with this one's, as his hand deftly moves  around my waist and I  abruptly remember your face and ignore the trespass committed against your love for passion  of the moment with he who has admired the subtle grace and immodest arrogance of movement of my naked body. Do you know now whom I speak of? Will a well-meaning friend gently inform? I wonder if you have done the same outside my glowing ethereal presence, as I have seen you embrace lesser females within my gaze. If you had you would deserve only my contempt as I now deserve your hatred. Too proud to ask forgiveness, I will keep my secret silent. You have not asked for my loyalty, merely naively presumed it, offering nothing but your own  in return, already tainted with  laden promises easily given to others long gone. Why then, my darling cuckold, should I depend on quicksand as if it were solid ground?
