Debating a Shattered Moon

"This is senseless? Shall I make sense or shall I tell the truth? Choose either - I cannot do both." -Randall Jarrell (from Seele im Raum) I. ESCAPE IS IMPOSSIBLE even from the sweestest beast dreamscapes turn into lanscapes of pain and lack of air HER HEAD POUNDS FROM OUR HAMMERING THROUGH THE NIGHT BUT WE HAVE WORK TO DO THE SAVAGES NEED TO MAKE A LIVING WE KNOW NO OTHER WAY YOU'RE CRAZY YOU SAY FROM REALITY FAR AWAY YOU NEED TO BECOME REAL ALIVE AGAIN the fields are calling the eagles fly as  the grass green below sways with the wind PLEASE RETURN PLEASE COME BACK but i love the field my playground - my Freedom the only freedom i have my dreams BUT SOMETIMES YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE THAT THE PEOPLE COME BACK TO YOUR CASTLES IN THE AIR THEY WILL HAUNT YOU FOREVER THEY WILL BUG YOU TILL YOU SCREAM like i said the fields are calling suppose i am calling them wanting willing as i wish II. THOUGH I AM JUST BUT ONE  TO SEND OF SHINING IMAGED SUN i "lie" here yet to fall asleep the nigth has just begun IMPELLING DARKNESS ENCOMPASSING THE EDGE UNREACHABLE GRIPPING FEAR THE MORBID REALITY THAT "LIES" AHEAD sometimes i walk around but i am not alive i am dead to the world THIS GRIEF HAS BECOME SO MUCH  IT WOULD BE BETTER OFF THIS WAY the monsters came they come and go  they don't even bother to ask if i am busy CLOSED EYES BUT PEACEFUL LOOKING WILL WAKEN ANY MOMENT TRAPPED? WHO WILL LET HIM OUT? ensared beneath the earth physical for eternity yet supposedly the  soul moves on no i am not fearful for him just weary - the big IF and what it? TOMORROW? III. holding my hand shaking a leaf in october wind burning in the heat of the night i try to open my eyes he is the man of my dreams?  unconditional love he knows about all the monsters all but one - the big One BUT IN TIME HE WILL KNOW i don't deserve something this good YES YOU DO - HERE COMES ANOTHER WAVE oh the pain BUT SHE WONDERS SHE TELLS US HE'S TOO GOOD FOR HER WE UNDERTAKE TELLING HER SHE'S TOO GOOD FOR HIM WHAT IF HER EYES WERE TO OPEN? the pain unbearable i feel his hand in mine his lips press against my cheek if i could open my eyes would another monster be there holding my hand as here i "lay" just another apparition - just another "lie" shattered by the break of day

Additional Notes:
this is a wierd one - my apologies to those who find it hard to follow - the intent is to protray utter confusion and chaos- perhaps like the thoughts in a "crazy" persons head? Written in a variety of voices - caps or lower case is the best way i had to differentiate between them.
